Our last 5 projects have been Respectfully Built new construction homes. Whilst we find much joy and satisfaction with in-filling vacant lots with complementary single family homes, there’s nothing like restoring a historic home — especially one that is simply longing for some tender loving care!

Say hello to the 20th FW Heritage home – Respectfully Restored 1606 Shearn!
And yes, we are once again back on Shearn St – this home marks our 8th project on this street!

Previously, she was a dainty little one at just 920 sf, but BIG on original features – brick piers, 6″ tongue-and-groove walls, original windows and doors, 5″ wide plank floors and original interior and exterior millwork. We have put on an 800 sf addition, shined her up and are excited to welcome a new family to First Ward.

Respectfully Restored and Respectfully Added-On, she is a 4 bed / 2.5 bath home, packed with original historic touches and necessary modern amenities. Located just one block from the Hike & Bike Trail, walking distance to many First Ward amenities and next door to one of our new construction homes — who could ask for more?!
